Maps Some fast facts about West Sulawesi Capital: Mamuju. Population: not known. Physical Features: This province is composed of coastal and hinterland areas along the mid north and northwest coasts of Sulawesi and has been extracted from the province of South Sulawesi. It consists of five kabupaten, namely Polewali, Mamasa, Majene, Mamuju, dan Mamuju Utara. The Province was officially declared by the Minister for Home affairs HARI SABARNO on the 18th October, 2004.
