Course Profile

Our courses are aimed at students who wish to become fully involved with the music/dance/culture of Bali. We accept children.

Students is involved as a "member of the family" and holds a privelaged position within the Yaysan community. Staff and students of the Yaysan will interact with and assist the student whenever they percieve the need.

Students will normaly be involved in several learning sessions during the day with the possibility of attending rehearsals and observing/participating. Students will also be introduced to the world of performance in the Peliatan/Ubud area and assisted with attending performances (both for the tourist and for the Balinese).

Students will also have access to the directors and teachers within the Yaysan for discussion and access to the Yayasan's library of materials on Indonesian culture.

Techniques are discussed in the various course descriptions.
